1. EWC Agreements
More than 800 EWC agreements have been concluded so far.
Background conditions may vary significantly according to the origin of the company, the size and the industrial sector. Whether or not an agreement can be called a good one depends as well on the culture of the industrial relations in the company.
The name of the company is followed by the applicable national transposition law of the EWC Directive under which the agreement was signed.
Agreements marked by *** are recommended by TCI as best practice agreements.

2. Code of Conduct
An increasing number of companies have signed code of conducts or declarations on social responsibilty. In a number of those agreements European Works Councils were involved actively as negotiation partners.
